The Company

The company was established in 2003 and started out, from a tiny office in Notting Hill, offering luxury health, fitness and detox retreats under the in:spa brand to destinations such as Morocco, Italy, Spain and France.  Within a few years, in:spa established itself as UK market leader for healthy detox retreats - and still is!  In 2009, the Company introduced specialist fitness training holidays under the fitscape brand as well as a premium yoga holiday brand called destination yoga.  Additional destinations such as Greece, Portugal, India and Ibiza were introduced, and we moved to larger office premises in Ladbroke Grove as the team grew.

Between 2003 and today, our team have built an extraordinary network of luxury properties and specialist local teams to ensure that every guest enjoys a fabulous healthy holiday.  That's about 2,000 guests so far!  More recently, we have been travelling the world preparing the ground for the launch of our newest brand:  The Healthy Holiday Company.  Now, rather than just being a behind the scenes name, it's also becoming a customer facing brand - offering luxury tailor-made healthy holidays throughout the world, for both adults and families.  We hope you are or are about to become one of our clients!  See what our current clients are saying about us

The Founders

The company (originally called Inspa Retreats Ltd) was founded by Kathryn Brown in 2003 after a 10 year career in the City, specialising in the consumer industries of luxury goods and retail.  Kathryn founded the company because, after exhaustive searching, couldn't find exactly the sort of holiday she was interested in.  Namely, a holiday that combined gourmet cleansing cuisine with expert nutritional advice, plus lots of fun interesting exercise, and plenty of time to relax and recover from a busy life.  Simon Pardoe, who had spent over 15 years at the forefront of the health and fitness industry (his first venture was the prestigious Harbour Club in Chelsea in the early 90's), joined the company in 2004 and has worked with Kathryn since then developing the business in to new niches and new markets.

The knowledge and expertise of our office team, together with our exceptional 'on the ground' healthy experts and customer services teams overseas, is the key reason why so many guests book their holiday with us year after year.  Indeed, over one third of all our guests in 2012 had been on holiday with us before.  We love that and are very proud of it!
