quick simple muesli
Posted in breakfast on July 8th, 2010 by Simon – Be the first to commentFabulously quick to make and highly nutritious. And you can make it in batches so you have a good supply for several breakfasts. Then just vary your sprinklings of seeds, nuts and dried fruits to keep it interesting.
We suggest making a batch once a week and alternate the additions to keep it interesting.
Buy rolled oats and toast them lightly in a roasting tray in a hot oven; when they are cool add any or all of the following…
Chopped unsalted nuts: almonds, brazils, hazelnuts, walnuts.
Chopped dried fruit: apricots, prunes, sultanas, raisins.
Seeds: pumpkin, sunflower, linseeds.
Keep in an airtight container.
