Seasons and climate

Comfortable year-round climate. Spring and autumn (from March to May and September to November respectively) have mild to warm days and cool nights. The summer months from June to August have warm to hot days and pleasant evenings. Winter runs from December to February and the days are crisp and evenings can be cold.

The year-round temperature range is 6°C to 15°C (January), 11°C to 21°C (April), 22°C to 34°C (July), 15°C to 27°C (October).

Getting here

The flight time from the UK is a little over 3 hours. You can fly low cost direct to Bodrum or fly to Izmir direct with BA followed by a 2.5hrs transfer. We reckon it's worth flying low cost direct to Bodrum in order to avoid the 2.5hr transfer from Izmir. But it's up to you!

If you want to combine your trip with a couple of nights in Istanbul, it's just over an hour's flying time from Bodrum to Istanbul.
