Limpopo is South Africa’s northern most province, with the Bushveld region being the setting for one of South Africa's finest golfing destinations.
The Bushveld Region has many stunning natural attractions and because it is only 1½ hours drive from Pretoria, makes for easy access to one of our recommended golfing destinations in South Africa: the Elements Private Golf Reserve
Vast, peaceful and incredibly beautiful, the Bushveld region of the Limpopo Province is a fascinating destination with a rich cultural legacy and a natural splendour that appeals particularly to those in need of a place to unwind.
The magnificent diversity of the Bushveld is evident both in the natural environment, which incorporates a range of habitats, and in the facilities and attractions available. The region boasts an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five, and many eco-tourism adventure opportunities. The region encompasses vast tracts of bushveld savannah, the mountainous Waterberg area and the Springbok Flats in the south. To the east, Limpopo Province covers the northern most part of the fabulous Kruger National Park

Climate
The climate in the Limpopo Province is quite hot since the area is bisected by the tropic of Capricorn and, on most days throughout the year, visitors enjoy long sunny days and dry weather. During the summer months the heat is often interrupted by a short thunderstorm which is usually a welcome respite from the sometimes extreme heat of the day.
However, we recommend that the best time to visit is April to September.
