I thought my holiday would be good but I was unprepared for how brilliant I would feel by the end of the week evening standard
For the avid golfer visiting the Seychelles, there's good news and bad news....
The good news is that the Constance Lemuria 18 hole championship course on the island of Praslin is a cracker. The bad news is that this is the only 18 hole course in the Seychelles.
So, if your holiday wouldn't be a holiday without a couple of rounds of golf, you're probably best off staying at the Constance Lemuria Resort or somewhere else on Praslin, such as Raffles Praslin
The 18 hole Lémuria Championship Golf Course, a par-70 playing 6,105 yards/5,556m, was opened at the turn of millennium, and is the only one of its kind in the Seychelles. It offers a great challenge to all levels of players, professionals and amateurs alike.
This spectacular course borders the enchanting beaches of Grande and Petite Kerlan. Palm trees, allowing the light to intermittently filter through, fringe the first 12 holes. From the 13th hole, the course extends over the steep slopes of a thickly forested hill, with breathtaking vistas. Golf is complimentary to resort residents.
