I thought my holiday would be good but I was unprepared for how brilliant I would feel by the end of the week evening standard
"Thank you all so very much for your energy, expertise and inspiration"
The Amalfi Coast is world famous for its amazing topography, sensational views and pretty little towns and villages...
... and one of the best ways to explore the countryside and to enjoy the scenery is on foot. During your stay at one of our recommended hotels (Monastero Santa Rosa or Palazzo Avino - formerly Palazzo Sasso) or in your own private apartment or villa (see our featured 'healthy villas') you can head out for short or long walks to stretch your legs, take some exercise and enjoy the views from numerous different vantage points.
The Monastero has an easy to follow map with a selection of walks, with enchanting names such as the 5 mile route known as The Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei). This particular walk has great views (such as the one pictured above) of the Amalfi Coast, Li Galli islets, and Capri, and leads you ultimately down in to Positano.
If you want to walk for longer and further (or shorter!), there will be a route to suit you.
