The waters of St. Lucia are abundant with beautiful coral gardens, a variety of fish from small damselfish to the Southern Sting Ray – you may even see a Barracuda!
The Body Holiday (one of our featured all inclusive resorts in St Lucia) has created a great programme of diving to suit everyone from the beginner to the most advanced qualified diver. Daytime beach dives are included in the price of your holiday but as there is so much to explain, if you are interested in diving, talk to our travel experts so that we can plan your diving in advance and create a personal programme that suits you and your diary.
All the resort’s SCUBA diving instructors are PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) trained and there’s a PADI course to get you qualified and diving.
As well as all the dive sites, the resort also offers a Beautiful Oceans Coral Reef Biology Courses. So whether you are a budding marine biologist or simply wish to understand a little more of what you see on your dives and snorkels, these courses will help you gain unique insight into the coral reef ecosystem, uncover hidden treasures, and help you enhance your in-water experiences.
For those who are not certified divers, there’s a Resort Course PADI programme. It includes a 45-minute classroom session, 45 minutes in the pool, then an ocean dive to a maximum depth of 20ft /6m on the beautiful reef right in front of the resort. An instructor will accompany you at all times. The dive is very safe and loads of fun and included in the price of your holiday.
If you would prefer a slightly more low key adult-only all-inclusive resort that’s predominantly for couples, we would recommend Rendezvous – which amongst its many land and water sports also includes one Scuba dive each day for guests.
