There are so many different definitions of the word spa, it's hard to know where to start. However, in Andalusia, we have two very different options on offer.

The first - and most traditional - is at Shanti Som, a little slice of the Far East in the hills 20 minutes north of Marbella. It sounds bizarre but works beautifully. Here will will discover a fabulous Balinese hideaway with a pool to relax beside, healthy Asian cuisine to enjoy, yoga classes to energise your system and a delightful boutique spa with a selection of treatments.

The second - and a little bit different - is half an hour away in the hills north of Sotogrande where in:spa hosts a series of 7 night health, fitness and detox weeks. It's a tried and tested combination of gourmet cleansing cuisine, nutritional advice, regular yoga and massages, hiking and fitness training - and plenty of time to relax beside the pool and soak up the sunshine.

So, take your pick! Of course, we would be very happy to talk you through both options and advise in which would be best for you.
