8 Day Cape trail running tour (5 days of running)

Discover Cape Town and the exquisite winelands region nearby via the many incredible trail-running routes that wind their way along forest and mountain tracks. The terrain varies from soft, sandy forest tracks, steep rocky inclines, to gentle endurance-perfect mountain contour paths.  The trails will be tailored to suit your fitness levels and technical experience and will be guided by our expert trail runner, Steve Atwell. Steve, a tri-athlete and sports fanatic has in-depth experience and knowledge of many superb trails around the region. Steve will assist you with setting your personal training goals and will design the trail running to suite you.
 

Trip Details

Length  8 days / 7 nights

Activity Level Suitable for all fitness levels, the package includes 5 trail-running days: the length of the trails varies from 2 – 4 hours depending on fitness levels. For the remainder of your stay, take time to unwind and relax and explore the region’s other tourist attractions.

Cost  From £1,170 per person (includes 5 days of guided trail running, 4 nights’ accommodation in Cape Town, and 3 nights’ accommodation in Stellenbosch with breakfast daily, car hire with unlimited mileage. Excludes international flights.

Itinerary

During your visit to the Cape, we can incorporate trail running in to your schedule of healthy activities or even design a bespoke trail running holiday for you.  One of our local team of experts is Steve Atwell, World Championship Triathlete and all-round great guy, and he would be delighted to take you out trail running around his native habitat in the Cape.

The topography of the area is ideally suited to all levels of fitness and some of the views that can be achieved from making your way up the mountains are absolutely superb. The terrain varies from soft, sandy forest tracks, steep rocky inclines, to gentle endurance-perfect mountain contour paths.  The trails will be tailored to suit your fitness levels and technical experience.
