Kwandwe Private Game Reserve is located approximately 65 km from the east coast of South Africa, close to the renowned Garden Route, in the malaria-free Eastern Cape. The nearest national airport is in Port Elizabeth, which is 160 km (100 miles) from the reserve. There are daily scheduled flights from both Cape Town and Johannesburg international airports to Port Elizabeth, with daily flights then from Port Elizabeth to the private airstrip at the Reserve.
