I thought my holiday would be good but I was unprepared for how brilliant I would feel by the end of the week evening standard
"Thank you all so very much for your energy, expertise and inspiration"
Santani, which means ‘in harmony with’, is nestled in the hills and rainforests in the heart of Sri Lanka. A wonderful place to restore your balance, reconnect you with your inner soul and with all the things that make you, you.
Set in 47 acres, Santani is a place of relaxation, simplicity and serenity in nature, offering the latest wellness innovations together with the deep-rooted Ayurvedic culture of Sri Lanka, in a beautifully designed brand-new boutique resort nestled in the mountains of Sri Lanka.
Santani does not believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach to its treatments and therapies. They understand that different people have different needs, so you can complement your stay here by choosing from a range of activities, including yoga, a spa, jungle gyms and fitness activities, Ayurveda and meditation.
A typical 7 day programme at Santani includes two 60 minute massages, two excursions (one to the Temple of Tooth in Kandy) and multiple offerings from the available range of activities, classes and therapies, including: Yoga, Ayurveda, massage therapies, detox therapies, cleansing, cross-fitness activities, nutrition, meditation, cooking classes and workshops.
Santani also offers Sri Lanka’s first fully-fledged spa, which includes the first ever hydrotherapy facility in the country. The spa includes a thermal salt soak, steam room, infrared sauna and three treatment rooms.
In keeping with it's name, this boutique mountain hideaway aims for its guests to achieve complete harmony – with nature, other people, physical activity, diet and nutrition and, ultimately, with yourself. You will enjoy a holiday here that focuses on feeling good as well as giving back to society and the environment.
Why not combine a visit to the hill country with a stay on the coast?
7 night programmes from £2,150 per person sharing on full board basis, including a selection of wellbeing activities and classes, flights and airport transfers.
There are 18 bedrooms at Santani, comprising 16 stand-alone bedrooms with balconies (approx 500 sq.ft each) and two 2 bedroom residences with a living area and a dedicated pool.
Please note that Sri Lanka requires all visitors to have a valid visa for entry to the country. These can be obtained on arrival at the international airport or online prior to travel at eta.gov.lk/slvisa/
