grenada

grenada caribbean

Grenada is the most southerly of the Windward Islands and home to some fabulous hotels.

The island is of volcanic origin and divided by a central mountain range. Tropical rainforests, gorges and the stunning beauty of dormant volcanoes make this undeveloped landscape a fascinating and diverse one to explore.

In the capital, St George's, a picturesque inner harbour with 18th century warehouses and restaurants, the botanical gardens and Fort George (built by the French in 1705) all add to island’s rich character.

Blessed with warm temperatures throughout the year, Grenada is a perfect year round destination, with an average of 9 hours of sunshine a day.  However, probably best to avoid the hurricane season in September / October.

The dry season runs from December to April.  Stay at:

Also worth considering:  Mayan Riviera, Mexico  Whilst this is not technically a Caribbean destination, the sea along the Riviera is most definitely the Caribbean.

Sailing the Caribbean

We also have a fabulous selection of luxury yachts, catamarans and motor cruisers availabe for hire in the Caribbean, including the BVI and Barbados.  Please ask for details.

The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and they're also the most likely months for hurricanes.
