khoa lak thailand

Khao Lak is an area of outstanding beauty. Pure white beaches, cascading waterfalls, spectacular primary forest, idyllic lagoons, estuarine mangroves and wildlife abound.

Our featured resort in Khao Lak, The Sarojin, is surrounded inland by five spectacular and adventurous national parks, including the magnificent rain forests of Khao Lak and Khao Sok as well as one of Thailand’s largest natural mangrove ecosystems.

The Similan and Surin Islands Marine National Parks, among the world's top dive sites, are less than an hour away by boat.

Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its sheer limestone formations and hidden caves and lagoons is 40 minutes away by car.  Fantastic for exploring by kayak

The historic old town of Takuapa, which lies 20km north of The Sarojin, was formerly the most important town on the west coast due to vast and precious tin repositories and mining in the area. The old town retains much evidence of its historic importance as the provincial capital including several old teak houses and the Governor's residence.

The Sarojin invites guests to enjoy much more than a traditional resort and offers guests rare opportunities to glimpse and experience insights into local Thai life through a combination of  tailor-made excursions and its sustainable tourism work with the local rural and coastal communities.

The Sarojin is just a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Khao Lak town in Phang Nga Province, Thailand, and just one hour north of Phuket International Airport.
