luang prabang

luang prabang laos

Luang Prabang is an historic UNESCO world heritage city nestling in the peaceful hills of central Laos.

With fine temples dominating the quiet streets and legions of saffron-robed monks collecting alms, there’s an almost hallowed atmosphere. As part of the UNESCO plan, new buildings have been limited and development must be in keeping with this magical place.

Luang Prabang is small. so just about everywhere can be reached on foot. Walking and cycling is the best way to see this tiny city - a place where time seems to stand still.

Our recommended place to stay in this serene city is Amantaka
