Explore the majestic and extraordinary Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its dramatic limestone islands jutting vertically out of the emerald green water.

From your base at The Sarojin, enjoy sea canoe journeys and hidden lagoons and caves exposed only at lower tides. The bay is also home to a remarkable sea gypsy village built over the water on stilts and with a giant rock monolith guarding its rear.

Phang Nga Bay's most famous limestone rock is Tapu Island, also known as James Bond Island, named for its appearance in the film 'The Man With The Golden Gun'.

The fact that the bay is protected from both the Northeast and the Southwest monsoon seasons means that its waters remain calm year-round, which adds to the appeal of its scenic wonders and abundant wildlife.

Phang Nga Bay is a one-of-a-kind experience.  With its majestic limestone citadels rearing vertically out of its waters, the bay is impressive and most definitely worth exploring.  Be sure to venture in to one or more of the bay's numerous caves. By day or by night you'll be amazed at what these magical grottos yeild.  Eco-friendly and conscientious, your carbon footprint will be minimal.

It's a 40 minute car journey to your departure point, but well worth it.
