The excellent surf shop at Paradis Plage has all the equipment you will need, with Rip Curl wetsuits and Surftech boards of varying shapes and sizes. Something for everyone! Rental costs are great value and lessons (from the age of 7 upwards) .
When the surf is not as you might wish it along the 5km beach that Paradis Plage sits, there’s always ‘surf guiding’. Jump in the car with your instructor and he’ll take you to the best spot elsewhere along the coast that suits your experience and skill levels.
When you’re not surfing, the surf shop is a great place to hang out. There’s a sprinkling of over-sized cushions and sunbeds on the surf shop deck and, when the sun goes down, you can move a few yards to the campfire on the beach or the open air cinema playing surf movies and cinema classics like Casablanca.
If you’ve never tried surfing before and have always wanted to give it a go, then Paradis Plage is a fabulous place to learn. If you’re a bit of a seasoned pro, you will already know that this corner of the Atlantic Ocean is well worth a visit. They also offer expert tuition at the Sofitel Thalassa hotel further up the coast, closer to Agadir.
