Michael Arthur, Chef
Michael Arthur started his cooking career within the classic tradition of apprenticeship in the French kitchens of London. He took his papers through Westminster College before leaving catering for a career in the arts. After extensive and continuing traveling he rediscovered his cooking career in 2002 by opening and running a small organic restaurant in the foothills of the Pyrenees. This allowed him to sharpen his skills and define his style of healthy but tasty food. This transcended through to the next part of his career which was private cooking and started getting invited to cook in Italy, France, Spain and Morocco before choosing the Balearic island of Ibiza as his base.
Liz Lark, Yoga Teacher
Liz has been teaching yoga since the 1990's, training first with the British Wheel of Yoga. Absorbed in the health & balance of the bodymind through alignment, gesture, breathing, sequencing and relaxation her inspiration comes from the series of Astanga Vinyasa tradition and other Hatha yoga practises including yoga nidra (deep relaxation). Liz adapts yoga postures for each individual in order to ‘chisel' into the form and help to sculpt and free each unique body. Workshops with leading teachers including Richard Freeman and Rod Stryker at The Life Centre London have inspired Liz to explore the journey into the liberating simplicity and spaciousness that Yoga brings.

Jennie Stenerhag, Road Biking
Jennie visited South Africa in 2003 and fell in love with the country while discovering her passion for cycling in the active town of Stellenbosch. A Swedish national, Jennie found herself returning to South Africa in 2004 where she competed in her first race, the famous Cape Argus cycle tour.  Jennie’s remarkable progress and talent ensured that in 2009, she was the winner in that very race, just five years later! Along the way she has won many of South Africa's biggest races as well as standing on podium in UCI races around the world. Jennie races in Europe and South Africa year round and is still loving cycling as much as her first ride just a few years ago. Jennie’s extensive experience and passion for cycling make her a highly talented cycling guide and trainer for all levels of cyclist.

Amelia Freer, Nutritionist
Amelia worked in PR and event management for seven years and discovered the power of nutrition though treating her own poor health. After four years studying at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (and with her health completely restored), she relocated to Northumberland where she now runs her practice. Passionate about good health and food, Amelia is enthusiastic about re-installing healthy eating routines and encouraging people to rediscover great tasting, fresh and seasonal food. Amelia runs regular healthy cooking demonstrations and is a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists.

Karin Pizzinni, Hiking Guide
Born, raised, and currently living in the Dolomites, Karin has had plenty of opportunity to pursue outdoor activities year round: she telemark skis, ski tours, hikes, rock climbs, and climbs glaciers, and previously cross country skied and cycled competitively. Since 1995, Karin has been a science and chemistry teacher at the high school in Alta Badia, and has guided her teenage students on countless local and international excursions. She is fluent in six languages: her native Italian, German, and Ladin, in addition to English, French, and Spanish. And her big passions? Travel and photography. Now, in addition to being a hiking guide in her beloved Dolomites, she works as an art director, making documentaries about Ladin arts and culture.

James Giuseppi, Yoga Teacher
James was working as a trader in the City in '95 when he discovered that yoga could relieve chronic back pain and assist in calming a restless mind. He had completed one teacher training course with Sivananda in 2002 when he was thankfully made redundant and began teaching full-time. The decade of City life gave him an invaluable understanding of the challenges of working in high pressure environments. During the following five years he also gained Yoga Alliance certification and  in 2006 went to India for six months' intensive study of Astanga in Mysore and trained with Sri K Pattabhi Jois.  James' teaching style is an amalgamation of the wide range of yoga instruction he has experienced and his classes are accessible to all whilst he tailors each session to the individual needs and abilities of his students.
Daniel Dobinson, Mountain Biking
Daniel Dobinson fell in love with mountain biking 18 years ago. Today he enjoys every form of cycling, from commuting to racing and feels that South Africa is the ultimate place to see by bike. It's great weather and beautiful wilderness areas, linked together with a good road infrastructure make it a joy to experience on the seat of a bike. Daniel was crowned provincial champion in his 'racing days' but nowadays he prefers showing off South Africa's beauty by taking people out on rides and helping them improve their bike skills along the way.
