7 nights from £3,650 amanpuri phuket

Set on a finger of headland on Phuket's beautiful west coast, Amanpuri is a luxurious boutique resort overlooking the sparkling turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea and the pristine white sands of its own private beach.

Amanpuri is the first ever Aman Resort and is now a flagship property offering a blueprint for their many idyllic hotels across the world. It has an unrivalled reputation as a luxury resort where personal service, recreational facilities and fine cuisine complement the unique splendour of its peaceful surroundings.

Amanpuri offers beautifully decorated Thai-style pavilions and private pool villas for larger families and groups. Graceful in design, the elegant buildings of the resort are connected by elevated walkways which lead to the stunning crescent shaped beach and the Aman Spa where a range of healing therapies and traditional treatments relax and rejuvenate.  Amanpuri offers daily complimentary yoga and meditation classes, plus a selection of non-motorised water sports such as kayaking, hobie cats and windsurfing.  There's also a hilltop fitness studio and two tennis courts.  Pilates classes are available at a charge.

When staying at Amanpuri, one of the great delights is exploring the coast in one of the resort's private fleet of cruisers and sailing boats.  It's an exceptional way of heading out for a day of scuba diving, enjoying island excursions and, of course, romantic dinner cruises.

On land, dotted around the resort, several bars and restaurants serve an array of the finest cuisine from across the globe.

With so many changes and upgrades to Amanpuri since it originally opened in the late 80's, this superb resort   has stayed well ahead of the competition.
