Surrounded by the luscious green woods of Fanes Park and the peaks of Conturines and Lavarella, this charming alpine chalet-hotel is minutes from the village of San Cassiano.  A warm yet sophisticated mountain hideaway to enjoy both winter and summer Dolomite activities, or simply relax and indulge in some exceptional cuisine.

You may not be able to ski in or out of this hotel but having been welcomed into the chic, alpine lobby with traditional rugs and log fires; you may also never want to leave!  Renowned for its gastronomic expertise, there are three restaurants to choose from including ‘La Siriola’ with its very own Michelin star and an outstanding wine cellar.

Rooms are traditional in style with natural pine wooden floors and contemporary influences.  There is also a lovely terrace to enjoy a cappuccino while revelling in the spectacular mountain views, or day beds in the garden on which you can read a good book.  You can spoil yourself a little further by visiting the spa on the lower ground floor consisting of a sizeable pool with views onto the garden, sauna, steam room and selection of natural treatments such as massages, exfoliant peels and facials.

You may not be in the heart of a village at the Ciasa Salares, but this refined and inviting hotel is a great starting point for hikes, biking tours or relaxing away from it all on a winter ski holiday.

With three restaurants to choose from, you might be slightly spoilt for choice every evening! 

Ristorante la Terrazza  -  has sensational views of the mountains and is great to share antipasti, lunch or dinner with a large veranda.

Wine Bar Siriola – an informal, warm and inviting bar where you can meet up with friends after a long day and enjoy cured meats, hot dishes and an impressive choice of wine and liqueurs. 

La Siriola – meaning  “nightingale” in Ladin, serves some exceptional à la carte dishes by chef, Fabio Cucchelli.  With a Michelin star, this restaurant is definitely worth booking during your stay at Ciasa Salares.

Stefan’s Wine Cellar – Referred to as the ‘establishment downstairs’ the cellar in the hotel has been recently refurbished, allowing guests to enjoy a class or two surrounded by panels upon panels of wine from all over the world.  With oak wooden tables and warm lighting, this is the perfect place to indulge in an aperitif.


‘Vives’ Spa consists of a large swimming pool with views out into the garden, a wellness area, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room.


Children are welcome but it’s more of an adult environment
