four seasons bali

7 nights from £2,910 four seasons bali bali

Four Seasons Bali at Jimbaran Bay has private and exclusive villas perched on the edge of the vast and spectacular Indian Ocean, while richly appointed guest rooms overlook the sandy southern shores of Jimbaran Bay.  The resort is perfect for both deep relaxation and those who like to be more active.

Without doubt,  this is one of Asia’s very best resort hotels – and succeeds in being both elegant and relaxed.

The resort's luxurious villas are dotted around the tropical gardens on the hillside of Jimbaran Bay. Each villa is a single storey cottage, with stone walls enclosing your very private resort ‘home’.   The bedrooms are large with king size beds; there's an outside dining area, a 4x3 metre plunge pool and sundeck, well designed bathroom and a freestanding tub bath that was just meant for sharing!   In addition there are six, two bedroom villas and two Royal Villas – details on request.

The spa is absolutely gorgeous, and is clearly inspired by its beachside garden setting, celebrating the healing and cleansing powers of water.  Eight luxurious treatment rooms are part of this 10,760-square-foot (1,000-square-metre) sanctuary. Three spa suites feature double massage beds, a Swiss shower and wet and dry body treatment areas; the suites open onto a garden courtyard with a large soaking tub and cascading rinse shower. The Spa Juice Bar serves healthy fare, juices, jamus (herbal drinks), tea, and coffee.  You can relax on the outdoor terrace with refreshing tonics and herbal elixirs.

To compliment the spa, the resort also offers a good selection of aerobics and stretching classes, plus yoga, Tai Chi and meditation.  For those who like to workout, the fitness room awaits you and personal trainers are on hand to help put you through your paces!  Other healthy activities to keep you in shape include windsurfing, mountain biking, tennis and - nearby - golf or river rafting.

There is a choice of specialty restaurants and the beachside restaurant is particularly popular.  Alternatively, you can opt for an Epic Dining Experience - designed for romance in a choice of dreamy dining destinations.  Whether on the sands of the balmy beach, ensconced in your private villa or in a gazebo at a secluded location, you will be privately attended to by your personal butler.

If you're travelling with your children, you can relax in the knowledge that the Kids' Club will keep them happy and entertained.

Please note that there is another Four Seasons resort in Bali, located in Ubud.  If you would like more details, please let us know.

Yoga

As with most Four Seasons resorts, an excellent choice of yoga classes is available for guests to enjoy.  Here's what's on offer in Bali:

Hatha Flow:  Perfect for beginners.  Breathe into your postures as you salute the sun and the moon. This class is designed to awaken the body and soothe the mind to encourage an inward focus of the union of mind and body through breath. Pranayama breathing techniques may be applied. Opening up the body, releasing the mind, a truly liberating practice.

Hot Flow:  Detox and cleanse by working up a sweat through a heat building sequence of postures, both dynamic and vigorous. This Vinyasa class is enhanced by the natural humidity of Bali, tikki torches and a candlelit ambiance, to create a perfect environment for Hot Flow yoga. A perfect exercise to build up an appetite and create a good night's sleep in the magic of Bali's twilight.

Yin Yang:  This class balances the yang quality of a dynamic Vinyasa flow with the longer holds and restorative qualities of Yin yoga. Therapeutic and safe, restoring physical equilibrium.

Power Flow:  An energetic style of Vinyasa yoga linking breath with movement, through alignment and structured sequencing. You will feel you have had a good workout and leave feeling re-energised.  Recommended for physically active guests with some yoga experience.
