Hotel Maria Christina is ‘old world’ grand but has been beautifully updated in impeccable style. High ceilings, intricate cornices, gilded mirrors, and outstanding service are the hallmarks of the hotel. Its famous cocktail bar – called Dry – is a popular way to start the evening and, if you’re not heading out to experience the city’s legendary cuisine (which would be a shame!), we would most certainly be happy at the hotel’s Saigon Restaurant with specialties from Indochina, Japan and Vietnam.
The hotel has 136 rooms and suites. It’s a 2 hour flight from the UK to Bilbao, followed by a 1 hour transfer to the hotel.
