Villa de L’Ô is a recently restored 18th century riad in the heart of Essaouira with a fantastic roof terrace and 12 individually themed bedrooms.
Hidden behind the medina walls, right by the sea, this onetime almond storage depot is minutes from everything that lovely old Essaouira has to offer: idyllic white and pinkwashed houses, rolling dunes, a harbour, fish stalls and souks. Yet despite its central location it is blissfully tranquil. There are just 12 bedrooms, all unique in style and all with names beginning with ‘O’, hence the name.
There are 12 individually themed bedrooms at the riad, all ensuite, and some with fabulous views out over the bay of Essaouira.
