villa lucca

price on application villa lucca tuscany

Magnificent 7 bedroom private residence with immaculate 4 acre garden, large swimming pool, tennis court and conveniently close to Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

Once a hunting lodge, Villa Lucca is now a very grand but very welcoming home that's ideal for two or more families, or a large group of friends.  For very large groups, neighbouring 10 bedroom Villa Sant Alessio could be combined as they are under the same ownership.

Villa Lucca spans 3 floors.  The entrance level - the piano nobile - has a beautiful, spacious sitting room with a high vaulted ceiling and a large open fire place, which leads on to a fabulous arched terrace (with dining and seating spaces) overlooking the rear garden and the rolling Tuscan hills beyond.  The piano nobile also has a large, well equipped kitchen / dining room, study, TV room, and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom.   There's a small terrace running off the kitchen which leads on to the shaded lunch terrace with its own BBQ and pizza oven.  Behind this is an all-weather tennis court and an outdoor children's play area with swings and slides and a trampoline.

Upstairs, there's 6 more bedrooms comprising 4 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, plus another spectacular ceiling with a high beamed ceiling.  On the ground floor, there's a well equipped fitness studio, large open hallway, teenage 'den', and wine cellar.

The impressive gardens contain stretches of immaculate lawn, mature trees, shrubs and statues. At the end of the stepped lawn is the delightful, large swimming pool (20m x 10m) with an adjacent seating area, and plenty of sun loungers.  The towers of Lucca can be seen in the distance beyond the pool.

The entrance to the villa is gated and there is secure parking at the end of the drive.

When you want to venture beyond the villa, you are in easy striking distance of Lucca (10 minutes) and Florence (40 minutes), the beaches by Pisa (35 minutes) or the more sophisticated beach clubs of Forte dei Marmi (40 minutes).  If you want to be active, hop on a mountain bike and explore.  We particularly recommend the river route to Lucca, followed by a circuit on the dedicated cycle path that runs the whole way around the city's massive defensive walls.  The walking and hiking around the villa is also superb - you can even see the sea from one of the hills overlooking the villa.

Naturally, chefs, guides, massage therapists, yoga teachers, tennis coaches etc. are all available upon request.
