Iceland is as remarkable as it is extraordinary.  Experience numerous natural geological and volcanic wonders, pristine glaciers, stunning unspoilt landscapes, rivers and waterfalls...

Iceland is just over 300 miles long and just under 200 miles wide and is home to just 300,000 people. This unique destination features wild landscapes dominated by volcanic rock, as well as imposing mountains and a spectacular coastline. Geologically the world's newest country, Iceland is famous for its volcanoes, geysers and geothermal baths and, for those lucky enough to see them, the magical Northern Lights.

Reykjavik itself boasts attractive boutique hotels, gourmet restaurants, and trendy bars. The natural wonders of the south of the island are within easy reach for day trips out of the city.

The short flight time (approx. 3 hours) and regular service from London makes Iceland an excellent destination even for a weekend adventure break.  Whether you just want to visit Reykjavik and experience the thermal waters of the famous Blue Lagoon or you would like to enjoy one of our tailor-made adventure itineraries, we will be glad to organise everything for you.

For a chance to see the Northern Lights travel between December and April and for whale-watching, the spring and summer are best.

Our teams in both London and Iceland can tailor-make the perfect itinerary for you.  Please call our travel specialists on 020 8968 0501 or send us an email with your dates and requirements.

Weather & Seasons

With its Nordic climate, the driest months of the year in Iceland are May, June and July. Mid-June to August is high season, but most highland tours don’t operate until July because of snow. At other times, many tourist facilities outside Reykjavík are closed. For a chance to see the Northern Lights travel between December and April and for whale-watching, the spring and summer are best.
