Koh Samui is a little island paradise in the Gulf of Thailand, with gorgeous beaches, crystal clear seas, and forrested hills. And four fabulous spa and wellness resorts.
Many people visit Koh (which means 'island' in Thai) Samui again and again, and it's easy to understand why. The gentle, laid back atmosphere combined with the Thai's legendary hospitality is just part of it. The delicious healthy food, the stunning beaches, the climate, the turquoise sea.... and our pick-of-the-best spa hotels.
Koh Samui is a two hour flight down from Bangkok with easy connections from many international flights.

Weather and when to go
Hot and sunny almost all year round temperatures are steady in the mid to high twenties for much of the year, nudging up above the 30°C mark between April and August. As it is in the tropics it is susceptible to short, sharp rain storms, however these rarely last more than 20 minutes, except in November when it can rain all day.
There are no direct flights from London to Koh Samui. It's an easy connection in Bangkok after a 12 hour flight - or enjoy a night or two in the city before flying on - and then it's about an hour to fly down to Koh Samui.
